Q: How does Measure H prepare students for good-paying jobs?
A: Red Bluff High School has a successful partnership with CAL FIRE and
Red Bluff City Fire to help train dozens of future local firefighters to
keep our community safe. Getting our fair share of money from
Sacramento maintains these partnerships and invests in training to
prepare local students for good-paying jobs as EMTs, firefighters, and
nurses.

Q: What repairs does Red Bluff High need?
A: If enacted, funds from Measure H help:
• Upgrade old air conditioning systems to keep classrooms
warm in the winter and cool in the summer

• Improve campus safety and security

Q: How can I be sure Measure H money would be spent as promised?
A: Measure H’s accountability requirements include annual independent audits, a review of all expenditures
by a citizens’ oversight committee, and public disclosure of all spending. By law, every dime of Measure H
is for our local high schools, and no money can be taken by Sacramento or used for administrator salaries.

Q: What is Measure H’s cost?
A: Measure H is a proposed $19 million local education bond measure that would cost voters $19 per
$100,000 of assessed, not market, value.
